About Me

Started racing when I was 16 years old, didn't have enough money to run with the faster guys on the street at the time.

Took a few years off and put together a nice engine with the help of Ron sharp at advanced airflow engineering. Put the car together with used parts that I could get with the little money I had at the time.

That combo was a basic 347ci motor with hi port heads with a plate kit went 9.20s at 147 mph which was fast at that time around 2001 when street racing was big in Detroit area.

After winning a lot of races, we couldn't find anymore in this area and had to go out farther and farther and would grudge race at certain events and that car never lost a race.

That is where the name Johnny Quick came from.
